This Privacy Policy explains how KT DOT SDN. BHD. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the KT Customer Order mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the ordering service:

• Account information you provide when registering or logging in: your name, mobile phone number, company name, and password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form on our servers).
• Order information you create in the App: the products, quantities, prices, delivery details, and the institution/branch an order is placed for.
• Authentication data: a secure login token is stored locally on your device (in the operating system's secure storage) so you stay signed in.
• App/technical information: the App version, used to prompt you to update.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or camera data, and the App contains no advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and authenticate your account, and keep you signed in.
• To verify your phone number during registration and password reset via a one-time password (OTP).
• To let you place, view, and edit orders for your company's branches, and to process those orders through our back-office accounting system.
• To notify you about app updates.

3. How Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

• One-time passwords (OTPs) and account notifications may be delivered to your phone number via WhatsApp. Your use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
• Order and account data is stored on our own secured servers and processed within our back-office systems to fulfil your orders.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers we control. Data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, and the on-device login token is kept in the platform's secure storage. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. You may request deletion of your account (see below).

6. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask questions about this policy, by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for business use by authorised customers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
